2020 Toyota Corolla Touring Hybrid S Wagon — 3.4L/100km

97,491 km | Blue | 1.8L petrol hybrid | 5 seats | Stock #9993

The Corolla wagon Australia never got. Same TNGA platform and 1.8-litre
hybrid drivetrain as the hatch sold here, but with a long roof and a
boot that opens to a flat floor when the rear seats drop. Drives like a
hatch, not a van.

The S grade returns the best economy in the Touring range — 29.0 km/L on
the Japanese WLTC cycle, about 3.4 L/100 km, on a 43-litre tank. It runs
smaller wheels than the sportier grades, which is exactly why.

Apple CarPlay is a real advantage on a Japanese import. Plug in an
iPhone and the eight-inch screen runs your maps, music, messages and
calls in English, which sidesteps the Japanese menus that put buyers off
imported cars.
