Looking for a modern automatic hatchback that's stylish, economical and surprisingly spacious? This 2018 Honda Civic VTi is a seriously impressive all-rounder.

The Civic has always had a strong reputation for reliability, but this generation stepped things up with bold styling, a much more modern interior and loads of practicality.

Powered by Honda's proven 1.8L petrol engine and paired with a smooth CVT automatic transmission, it's an excellent combination for everyday driving — economical around town, comfortable on the highway and easy for anyone to drive.

Picture this:

Easy commuting during the week.
Friends or family comfortably seated inside.
Shopping disappearing into the huge hatch area.
A weekend trip with luggage loaded.
And a modern-looking car that still looks sharp years after it was released.

Proven 1.8L petrol engine
Smooth CVT automatic transmission
Excellent fuel economy
Sporty five-door hatchback styling
Spacious five-seat interior

First car buyers
P-platers
Daily commuters
Couples
Small families

Anyone wanting a modern automatic hatchback

This is the kind of car that's easy to recommend because it covers so many bases.
