For a midspec offering the GXL has nice creature comforts like Push Button Start, Heated Front seats as mentioned, Reverse Camera, Electric Tailgate Satellite Navigation and Rear Air conditioning controls.

The Multi-spoke 18 inch Alloys set the exterior tone off alongside the Chrome highlights, Grey and Black bar inserts, Wing mirror indicators and Foglamps. The nice touch with Klugers are the Sunvisor holder that folds down with an inbuilt mirror to check on the kids in the back, nice forward thinking from Toyota of course.

The 3.5-litre V6 engine has direct injection for better fuel economy and slightly more power and torque than its predecessor at 218kW and 350Nm. There’s also the new eight-speed gearbox that got mated to this drivetrain combination in this new era of Kluger.
