Overview
The Ford Ranger PX 3.2L is one of the most capable and heavily demanded Utes in the Australian commercial vehicle market. Built December 2016 and Australian-complied November 2016, this single cab configuration has been professionally outfitted to mine-specification standard by East Coast Commercials (MTA Queensland member) and has served three owners - originating as a Telstra fleet vehicle before moving into remote work service with a contractor. The fitout is comprehensive and purpose-built for remote and resource-sector operations.

The vendor advises the vehicle has been always logbook serviced. Owner history is: Telstra Fleet, sole ABN operator (approximately 1-2 years), then current vendor. Receipts for repairs are available to serious enquiries. Importantly, at 186,914km in March 2024 the vehicle required and received: new radiator, radiator fan and shroud, fan idler pulley, crankshaft pulley, drive belt, EGR cooler, battery, starter motor, and a new cylinder head (following engine fan coming loose causing the damage). This is documented work - not deferred maintenance. The engine's top end has been refreshed, and the repair receipts are available. The last service sticker shows 262,000km due on 25 February 2026, confirming the vehicle has been serviced past its current odometer reading.

The exterior presents in Cool White with mine-spec yellow and orange reflective striping throughout. The ARB steel bull bar is fitted and presents well for its age. Two round spotlights are mounted on the bar, but their lenses have significant UV yellowing and would benefit from polishing or replacement. The steel wheels show surface paint peeling and corrosion consistent with mine-site dust and moisture exposure - cosmetic, not structural. Toyo Open Country A/T tyres are fitted to all four corners with moderate remaining tread. Inside, the dark grey cloth seats are in reasonable condition with normal wear. The instrument cluster and dash appear intact and functional.

The mine-spec fitout by East Coast Commercials adds substantial value: a full enclosed service body canopy with multiple lockable compartments, interior shelving (max 25kg per shelf), LED lighting, and central locking. The dual battery system features a Next Generation 130AH AGM deep-cycle auxiliary battery with an Enerdrive solar charge controller (active and confirmed functioning).
