More FG-X Falcon looking than Mondeo in my opinion! A sharp dressed unit, and it's easy to see the European influence Ford Australia looked for when they were developing these Mondeo's and Focus' of this era.

A good honest and cared for car with a FULL service book, its TWO Factory keyless entry Fob keys. The Hussla Alloys give it a 'different' look than the other white, Plain Jane and Ambiente models on the market currently in South Australia. In fact, at time of listing, the only colour besides the white!

The 'Trend' badge has a ton to offer over that said 'Ambiente'. In fact, as we learn everyday, I actually thought it was a 'Titanium' spec level being the fact it has all the creature comforts, aside from a Sunroof. Features like Push Button Start, Heated Front Alcantara insert Seats, Reverse Camera, Satellite Navigation, Dual Zone Climate, Adaptive Cruise, Keyless entry on all four doors, Crash Avoidance display and Electric front seats. A fair bit of package for a 'Mid' Tier!

The XG Premium Black plates look great amongst the styling generated by the European influence and it really is a smart looking car in amongst the traffic. The Moondust Silver Duco Pops and the Greyish tone 18' Hussla's finish it off.

Ford fixed the dreaded Transmission faults they had bad luck with in the MC Mondeo's and as they did with the LZ Focus so the new and updated versions make for an excellent vehicle to drive.

Step inside, and the niceness of the Mondeo continues. It is very comfortable, the cloth and leather seats providing good support and adjustment, as well as a warm, almost snug environment. The driving position is also good, with solid vision out the front.

Looking ahead, the instrument cluster has a very sharp 4.2-inch digital screen in the centre with a huge range of detailed functions. Multiple trip computers, configuration and personalisation settings plus a range of driver assistance features, there is a stack of information here, and it is crisp to view and easy to use.

Material selection is again nice, The quality is impressive for a Ford – a little reminder that this is a European car in every way, and a hint toward the upward shift for the once mass-market brand. Despite this being the mid-level car, you really don’t want for features. Simple air-conditioning controls, heated seats, and SD and USB inputs in the spacious centre console are all present.

On the highway, the ride is really excellent and you could see how easy it would be to eat up the miles in this thing. There is a reason the Mondeo is known as a ‘repmobile’ in the UK, it is just so well suited for touring.
