Another low kilometre trade-in finds its new home for resale here at my dealership. A friends mother in law was looking for an upgrade after many years of ownership, and she, or I for that matter was lucky enough to have a car in stock that she was looking for.

As it stood I had only Serviced this vehicle through our Service department 900 kilometres ago, and while the previous owner had spent to the sum of near 800 dollars, the lure of having a newer car was too strong for her.

At the time of Service she had discussed some options and knew she could lean on me for a result, something we achieved quiclkly and somewhat unexpectedly.

Even with the LOW 69,151 kilometres, surprisingly, this is actually a three owner car, but all owners (of what looks like a similar demographic) kept the kilometres off the car in the same fashion. A FULL service book dating back from the original owner sits neatly alongside the rest of the manuals in the glovebox to justify its journey.

A clean example, but basic in features and presentation, it's not a high spec, full tech offering. But what it lacks in that realm, it makes up for with the longevity of kilometres left to travel on the odometer.

A nice white duco stands up for the age of the vehicle, the interior is as good as you expect from the life too. The small 1.2 litre has enough punch to get out in traffic, and the Automatic transmission suits well enough to be nimble, and easy to drive. Though it's no powerhouse, so the drag strip is not its home.

The reconditioning was simple as it gets being that the previous owner spent the money 900 kilometres ago, as stated earlier. A detail, and she is ready for the photo booth.

Ideal run-around, first drivers car, or down-sizer.

Get in while you can, low kilometres like this don't tend to last long under the $10,000 price bracket.
