I've said this many of times, but if all 200 kilometre vehicles looked this good I wouldn’t have a rule of keeping vehicles 150 kilometres and under. But as I've always stated too, if they prove too good to let go I will make an exception.

I've facilitated some sales of these Ford Focus ST's over my journey and hopefully without sounding too ridiculous, this one is probably the best, most solid and tightest drive overall. A FULL bill of service book (as all of my cars represent) as well as the other required manuals but surprisingly it still has its TWO factory key fobs too.

The lady owner prior to this obviously attended to the standard maintenance pop ups (eg engine mounts etc) because this just is, as I stated earlier, drives so incredibly tight. Still standard apart from the Grey painted alloys, keeping it stock and not excessively modifying it has sure to have kept its longevity in good stead.

The interior has stood the test of the kilometres and still pops clean in comparison to others I've seen with less travel. All the functions are still operating flawlessly and the Performance Blue paint of the exterior must have seen some garaging as it clearly has tons of life left in it.

Its reconditioning process required nothing but an oil and filter change which is the testament to the ownership it has obviously endured. A nice upgrade I identified was some slotted rotors upfront, a nice touch, albeit the factory brakes I've had before never have had me question anything.

For those who have driven these, they are a full deck of fun and the Torque steer will leave you wanting more. Ford intentionally (as reported by the company anyway) did not tune all the torque steer out of the car to leave some character. Whether that is true or not, I actually agree. It makes the car seem like a bit of a wild animal that needs to be tamed. I like this.

Handling is great. The steering is very fast and the grip is excellent. Behind the wheel, it is very comfortable and extremely supportive with its excellent Recaro seats. Not necessarily suited to the larger build, but for me it's perfect.

These are becoming harder to find now, a quick check of the market and only one listed on Carsales in SA. If you're wanting a colour, this, with its grey alloys is a look that is different to your neighbours.
