What this means is that you can potentially travel with 2 wheelchairs in the vehicle - depending on the size of the wheelchair. Or the wheelchair passenger can use the rear position when they need to exit and enter quickly and use the middle position when going for a longer drive.

Integrity have installed additional floor anchorage points that meet Australian design rules (ADRs). This Alphard , like all our vehicles come with an engineers certificate (VSCCS) for wheelchair use by an RMS appointed engineer that covers all states and territories Australia wide.

Contrary to what some of our competitors say we can install and change Q'Straint positions in our vehicles. We welcome working with your OT to ensure the restraints are in the correct position and you and your wheelchair are travelling safely in the vehicle.

About the Toyota Alphard

The rear seats stow on the sides of the rear of the vehicle if not needed or if they are required they easily lower and lock into the car floor. Take a look at the photos above which clearly show all the Alphard features.

Toyota Alphard Wheelchair Feature

The Alphard was designed with an amazing handling stability and extra comfortable suspension especially designed for the comfort of wheelchair passengers.

The rear of the vehicle lowers and the lightweight aluminium ramp extends out of the rear of the vehicle to create a gradient of 9 to 12 degrees which is easier for the wheelchair to access and move easily into the rear of the car. We have Oval pockets engineered into the floor and they can be attached to the wheelchair with restraints. We have 3 different types of restraint to choose from. Again take a look at the video above to see how the restraints work.
