Info about this vehicle:

2009 Holden Commodore VE Omega - Red - 274,029km - 3.6L V6 LPG Dual Fuel, No Reverse, Project/Parts
2009 Holden Commodore VE Omega sedan. Rear-wheel drive. 3.6-litre V6 petrol with LPG dual fuel conversion. Automatic. 274,029 kilometres. Five seats.

Description
The VE Commodore was the most significant redevelopment of the Holden Commodore in two decades when it arrived in 2006. The Alloytec 3.6-litre V6 underpinning the Omega is one of the strongest engines ever fitted to the nameplate. This example was converted to LPG dual fuel, giving it the flexibility that was highly valued for high-mileage use. The LPG system is fitted with a substantial cylindrical tank in the boot.

Externally the car presents better than the interior suggests. The red bodywork is generally consistent across all panels with no major collision damage. Three factory alloy wheels are fitted, with a steel spare wheel on the rear right corner. Inside, the vehicle has been subject to significant water ingress. All four door trim panels have been removed, leaving the bare inner door shells exposed. The rear seat base has a large split with foam showing. The rear footwells contain standing water. The front cabin has mould and soiling throughout the remaining trim surfaces. The boot houses the LPG cylinder, which occupies most of the available cargo space. The engine, automatic transmission, and remaining mechanical components are accessible for assessment.

The vendor has disclosed that the vehicle does not go into reverse. This transmission fault, combined with the interior water damage, positions this as a project or parts vehicle. The Alloytec V6 engine, the LPG conversion system, the alloy wheels, and various body components all carry parts value. This vehicle is available for pick-up only from the Winnellie NT depot. Starting bid is $1.
