The beauty of being known as the go to 'Car Guy' in your social circles is the fact that referrals come in large amounts and like someone once said to me about the cars I list, "you dont find them, they find you don't they?" - nothing short of the truth with this 85km 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer ES Wagon.

An unfortunate, but life truth in a grandmother that had to hand her license in due to age gave me the opportunity to help the seller out with a quick, easy and fair purchase for both parties. Albeit when first viewed the layer of dust was thick enough to not really determine how good the paintwork was, but with an odometer of 85XXX kilometres and the state of the interior I was hoping the paint would also reflect that representation.

A ONE Owner bought and serviced with Portside Mitsubishi, with a FULL (by kilometres) service book, this 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer ES is what I consider a rare acquisition. Not more than a few months ago I had a client ask if I could find one for them and I clearly stated "good luck"! It's amazing how timing works in this world.

A simple reconditioning process of a standard Service, Safety and Vehicle Report Card and then followed by a good thorough detail to remove that dust, I knew with these kilometres there was a Gem underneath there. All presents and handles in its basic form with nothing jumping out for attention and if you know these engines, you would know they have great lifespan and will continue to deliver for many kilometre’s. However, I'll add this probably has never seen over 4000 rpm from grandma driving it.

The flexibility of the Wagon with an economical 4 cylinder has a following for the capacity in luggage space, and perfect for sole traders with hobby trades. Add to the fact that since I've purchased this I have seen two different painters getting around with them with ladders on top.

As stated there is no need to go into any highlights, as quite frankly there aren’t many, but what there is to offer is confidence in the low kilometre’s, an easy life prior to your future ownership and the fact that this dealership continues to provide low kilometre examples in rare forms regardless of the badge on the front.

Priced accordingly with value and replacement, hesitate and you'll miss the opportunity.
