The VY Commodore wagon is one of the last generation of full-size Australian-made family wagons, and they keep working long after the odometer climbs. This one is a VY Series II Acclaim, which sat above the fleet-spec Executive and brought a more complete features list for private buyers, with the proven 3.8-litre Ecotec V6 and 4-speed automatic that made the Commodore the dominant family car of its era. Roof rack bars and a towbar make this a practical hauler. Two keys are supplied.

Gold metallic exterior shows no major collision damage with consistent panel alignment throughout. There are marks and scratches on the paintwork consistent with the age and kilometres. Rust is present and disclosed: the tailgate shows a rust-through breach near the COMMODORE badge, paint bubbling is visible at the windscreen frame corners, and rust is present at the rear window upper frame area. Inside, the headliner fabric has completely detached from the backing board and hangs down inside the cabin across most of the roof area. Rear seats in charcoal cloth are in reasonable condition.
