Info about this vehicle:

2003 Ford Falcon BA Fairmont Ghia V8 - Green - 241,151km - 5.4L Boss 220 V8, Dual-Zone Climate, Full Leather, ICC Screen
4-door sedan, 5.4L Boss 220 V8 VCT, 4-speed automatic, RWD, 241,151km, 5 seats, Sage Green Metallic

Boss 220 V8 in the Full-Spec Ghia Shell
The BA Fairmont Ghia V8 sat at the very top of the 2003 Falcon range. While the XR8 was built for performance, the Fairmont Ghia was built for everything else. The 5.4-litre Boss 220 V8 with DOHC and Variable Cam Timing produced 220kW and was identical to what Ford fitted in the XR8 and GT. But the Ghia added dual-zone automatic climate control, an ICC colour information display, full leather with suede inserts, electrically adjustable front seats, woodgrain interior trim, rear parking sensors, and cruise control. The result was a large, V8-powered luxury sedan built to a standard that, even at 241,000km, still feels like a serious car. This March 2003 build is confirmed as a Fairmont Ghia V8 by the build plate (engine code Z, trim code S3 leather, paint code EI sage green metallic). The car is located at Thomastown in Victoria.

Condition
The sage green metallic paint presents well on the front and passenger side with reasonable gloss and straight panels. The right side of the car carries significant damage at the rear right door and rear right quarter panel, with denting, creasing, and paint loss in the area consistent with a side impact. The original rear right alloy wheel is missing and replaced with a black steel space-saver spare (80km/h rated). Three of the four original Fairmont Ghia multi-spoke alloys are fitted and in fair condition with minor kerbing. The engine bay shows the 5.4L Boss 220 V8 confirmed on the factory engine cover, the bay is moderately dirty with no obvious fluid leaks visible. The interior is in grey/stone leather with suede centre inserts. The driver's seat leather shows colour loss on the outer bolster consistent with the mileage, though the leather is intact with no tears. The dashboard top above the centre air vents has split and separated, a known and common fault on BA/BF Falcon dashboards in Australian climates, exposing internal foam and wiring. The ICC screen, dual-zone climate, and all interior controls appear present and functional. Rear seats are in good condition. The boot contains a white plastic tub of assorted bolts and fasteners. A towbar is fitted to the rear.

At $300 to $1,300 Guide
Clean, undamaged BA Fairmont Ghia examples are currently at $6,160 to $8,690 in the market (CarsGuide). The rear quarter damage and missing alloy wheel are the factors that bring this vehicle to the bottom of that range. A buyer who sources a matching alloy (available in the used market at $200-$500) and addresses the rear door and quarter panel will have a fu
