2001 Ford GT40 Tribute (Roaring Forties). Rear-wheel drive. Ford 347ci stroker V8 (Blueprint Engines, Haltech EFI). 6-speed manual transaxle. 2 seats. QLD registered. "040GT" personalised plates included.

Description
Roaring Forties is the Melbourne-based builder that produced the most faithful GT40 replicas available in Australia, built to the proportions and geometry of the original 1966 Le Mans car. This example has been taken well beyond standard. The vendor has tracked it and made targeted upgrades to improve lap times, resulting in a properly sorted, road-registered sports car with genuine performance credentials.

The powertrain is a brand new Blueprint Engines Ford 347ci stroker V8, managed by a Haltech EFI system with an IQ3 digital dash displaying RPM, speed, water temp, oil pressure, and air temp in real time. Six-speed manual transaxle, LSD, custom equal-length tubular headers into a stainless exhaust. Adjustable coilovers front and rear with red springs on the independent rear suspension. Front-mounted radiator with red silicone hoses. The exterior is silver/grey metallic with dark blue and orange racing stripes over the top. Halibrand-style black multi-spoke wheels with polished lips. The interior is grey Alcantara throughout: Ford GT centre-badged three-spoke steering wheel, Haltech digital dash, analogue supplementary gauges, toggle switches, and red racing harness. Queensland blue modification plate (Serial 216046, May 2001, engineer certified by John N. Bosci). GVM is just 1,000kg, properly light. Fully registered in QLD with "040GT" personalised plates included for QLD buyers. Current roadworthy certificate provided.

Race-prepared, road-legal, and ready for both track and highway. This is one of the best-equipped GT40 replicas we have seen.
