This stunning 993 Turbo we are proud to offer was 1st delivered by Hamiltons of Melbourne in April 1997 for the 97 model year. Porsche Cars Australia has confirmed it retains its original engine and delivery specification finish of Ocean Blue Metallic over a Rubicon leather interior.
The 993 turbo represents the very end of the line for Porsche's air cooled Turbo's and is generally regarded as the finest road-going air-cooled 'Turbo' ever produced. It showcased the best of all Porsche's technical genius at the time, a lot of which flowed from the earlier 959 supercar program but without the huge 959 complexity.
The introduction of 2 small sequential turbochargers made power delivery smooth and linear resulting in a car that was far more driveable than the early single turbo cars with their on or off power delivery. 4 wd was also a 1st in this model Turbo, allowing all of its 408HP to be put to the ground. As a result, motor journalists at the time were absolutely gob-smacked when they checked their 0-100 kmph test times. Sub 4 seconds was a regular feature, which was mind-blowing back then and is still supremely quick even by today's standards.
'Turbos' were generally heavily optioned from factory and this car has the following:

- A full Rubicon leather interior with ruffled seats.
- Cruise Control
- Electric Sunroof
- 12 Way electric seats with heating.
- CD Stacker & Tape Deck
- Nokia Digital Sound Processor

It also has all its original books, CR21 radio, spacesaver spare, toolkit, jack and compressor.

It has been extremely well maintained with both Porsche main dealer and independent specialist servicing.
WIth factory trained technicians of the era in-house, we maintain a number of these 'Turbos' for their owners, so we see the good and the exceptional; this is the exceptional !
It has been maintained by us for approx the last 6 years on behalf of a mature owner who kept it as the centre-piece of his air-cooled collection. But he has decided it's time for someone else to enjoy and cherish this magnificent machine.
