The ZL Fairlane arrived in 1984 and carried through the mid-1980s with Ford’s luxury sedan formula: extended wheelbase, plush interiors, and understated prestige. The ZL in particular stood out for its angular styling, digital dashboard, and full suite of luxury features for its time.
