1976 Honda CB750F Super Sport - Maroon/Red - 66,302km - The Bike That Changed Everything
1976 Honda CB750F Super Sport, 750cc inline-4, 5-speed manual, chain drive, 66,302km.
Description
The Honda CB750F Super Sport needs no introduction. When Honda released the "F" variant in 1975, it took the already legendary CB750 platform and sharpened it with a sportier riding position, the signature 4-into-1 exhaust, a rear disc brake and a slimmer fuel tank that gave the bike a more aggressive stance. This was Honda's answer to the Kawasaki Z1, and it delivered. The CB750F remains one of the most collectible Japanese motorcycles of the 1970s, and values have been climbing steadily as clean examples become harder to find.
This example presents as an honest, rider-quality survivor with some period-correct modifications. The fuel tank wears a deep maroon/candy red finish with gold and cream pinstriping that retains excellent gloss and depth. The "Honda Super Sport" and "750 Four Super Sport" badges are all present and in good condition. The SOHC 736cc inline-four looks clean with intact cooling fins and polished Honda-branded crankcase covers. The stock airbox has been replaced with individual pod air filters on the Keihin carburetors, a popular period modification, and the exhaust runs through an aftermarket Tranzac 4-into-2 system. The black vinyl pleated seat is in good condition with no tears. Wire-spoke wheels wear modern rubber with good tread depth, and the front disc brake shows normal wear. Chrome throughout is in good condition, particularly the exhaust headers which are highly reflective with minimal bluing.
Comparable CB750F Super Sports have sold at US$4,000 to US$5,076 on Bring a Trailer in 2023 and 2025. At current bidding, this is an opportunity to secure a genuine piece of motorcycling history at a competitive price. These bikes are not getting any cheaper.
