1976 HOLDEN MONARO HX GTS SEDAN - AUTO - 5129 KMS SHOWING

Presenting in Sudan Beige & Black with Black interior trim.

This vehicle has been in the one ownership in country South Australia for over 20 years.

This car was re-painted in it's original colour scheme some years ago and also had an engine change from an HX Premier 5.0Lt , the new engine being rebuilt at the time of the change. Engine work was completed by MC Auto Repairs of Ridleyton Adelaide in June 1996. The reading on the odometer is since the engine was re-built and replaced.

This new motor has been further developed to a 355 stroker with a mild cam upgrade, featuring new crank, pistons and conrods etc.

Retrimming of the interior was also completed in 1996 by Carofano Motor Trimmers of Chapel St Norwood.

All recent services have been completed by the owner, however we have no paper evidence of such.

Powered originally by a 5.0 Litre V8 engine, it produced when new 161Kw and 400Nm of power and torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a 3 speed auto transmission. Performance figures suggested at the time of release, 0-100kph in 9.3 secs and a top speed near 190kph. These figures will be somewhat improved due to the abovementioned upgrades.

A well presented HX Monaro, which will suit a classic Holden enthusiast.

Eligible for Historic registration in most jurisdictions, this equates to minimal on road costs.
